I was actually pretty disappointed in myself when I didn't get HGSS when it came out, so in 2012 I decided to buy a used copy. I restarted right away, which was a mistake, since I didn't transfer the Pokémon that the previous owner had on it... the rare and exclusive event Pokémon, including the special pichu. Oops.
Anyway, this was my first ever Johto game after over 10 years and I adore it.
