Non Playable Characters

This is a page of people throughout this crazy journey called (my) life, who I attribute to a color scheme and a Pokémon. I don't list names for privacy reasons. A handful of people are no longer in my life for one reason or another.

Regardless, when it comes to the lore of who I am as a person - and in the Pokémon world - these people have undoubtedly made a huge impact on me and who I've become ♥

Click each Pokémon to read more. The blurbs are an explanation of why I assigned each Pokémon to them.

(back)

It's me

My color scheme (light blue/bright pink/light accent), shaped like her, my actual typing (water/fairy), I want to live like her (sit in the water all day), bipedal (as I am so inclined) with large ears (I like being good at picking up sounds and music), my initials are in her name

Mom

The only Pokémon she knows (aside from Pikachu) because of the first anime episode

Dad

His zodiac sign

Sibling

Became obsessed with penguins right before Gen 4 came out (my fault), still loves Pokémon and Gen 4 and penguins and piplup to this day

Beta4beta

Her favorite ♥

Favorite reply guy

Her favorite ♥

Splatoon partner-in-crime

Her favorite (and her online handle) ♥

My writing rock

I assigned it to her in 2013 and she still attributes it to herself so this is recursive. Also it's the color scheme she usually goes for. And she's terminally angy but in a baby way ♥

My dog

He jumps really high, he's the same color scheme, and he's equally floofy.

IRL turned online friend (because we moved)

Their favorite guy ♥

Former roommate (older sister)

Kins vileplume.

Former roommate (younger sister)

Kins oddish.

First online bestie

Didn't play any of the mainline Pokémon games but loved audino's design when the gen 5 dex leaked, and said that mega audino was the prettiest Pokémon she'd ever seen. Healed a lot of my girlhood heart.

Ex college bestie

Played through Gen 6 for the first time with me.

Old college roommate

Doesn't do Pokémon but the first time they saw cincinno, they told me it was the cutest Pokémon they'd ever seen.

College friend

Didn't do Pokémon but already loved Cyndaquil before we met because it's so cute. Also because it reminded her of John Watson from her favorite TV show, BBC Sherlock.

Church partner-in-crime

Her favorite Pokémon, sharper and more quick witted than me.

Concertgoer-in-crime

Loved mustaches when they were trendy (see: Walrein), loves silly cute things, younger than me but taller than me.

First fandom friend

Loves Pokémon and gen 3 as much as me, torchic was her forever starter, likes debating a lot.

Shared custody mutual bestie

Wore a lot of purple, polarizing in our high school friend group but genuine, equally close to me and jigglypuff after our fallout.

Ex girlhood bestie

Loves to sing, secretly has a temper, didn't do Pokémon but because we played a lot of smash together and she loved pink, jigglypuff was her favorite by default. My first favorite Pokémon.

Ex childhood comphet crush

We bonded over Pokémon and one time he bragged to me that he caught the ultra rare Heracross in the Safari Zone so it's the only one I've associated him with since.

Pastor's daughter

Loves boys more than any other girl I've ever known. Married.

Gay high school BFF

Idk man vibes. Also gen 5 came out during the height of our friendship, though he didn't play it .
